Although it has some places of interest do we love it? Not so much!!!!!
Took the free Tram around the perimeter of the inner City on Sunday when we arrived to acquaint our self to the area.  On Monday we did a walk about through the City.  Not much was our "cup of tea".  It has alot of shopping and food courts so we decided to head to the Southbank and there we caught a ferry down the Yarra River to Williamstown.  It took an hour to get there and we found a quaint little yachting community that must be very popular in season.  It reminded us of a smaller San Diego, CA.  Many, many yachts were moored and seldom used.  The condos & townhomes included boat slips but the average price for one $5M.  After a great pistachio/mango gelato there, we headed back to Melbourne.  Melbourne reminds us of Montreal.  It’s OK but nothing awed us.  The funniest part of the day was eying a Mate at a bus stop that had a Penn State Sweatshirt on.   When I approached him about the PSU on his chest, he was thrilled that I knew it meant Penn State.  He is a Kiwi living in Australia that attended PSU as an exchange student – so he is a Nittany Lion too.  How cool was that!  Leaving Tuesday for home -Wangi Wangi……..and ready to take some time off from this tourist thing.
